  13. I am unable to communicate suddenly with AOL using my Aspen 28IDSSA 28.8 modem.

  15. I can connect (mostly) with Compuserve and Netcom, but I find if I leave my PC
  16. on for a while and then try to use the modem, the modem doesn't respond to my
  17. DUN connection request.  Powering the PC off corrects the problem.

  19. The modem also doesn't work with Winfax Pro 4.0. I have tried setting it up as a
  20. generic Class 1 and a Genric Class 2 modem, all to no avail.  It begins to
  21. output a page and then dies before the first page is complete. Any suggestions
  22. appreciated.

  24. I believe that this modem uses the Rockwell chipset (version unknown) with all
  25. of the attendant RPI problems.

  27. Does anyone have the setup strings which work best for this modem for AOL,
  28. Compuserve, Winfax Pro 4.0, and a dialup networking connection?
